Level Crossing (2-gate, 5m)
This traditional 2-gate level crossing can be added to your existing railway and controlled manually (by owner) or by commands from other scripts. Any number of crossings can be operated independently within the same communication range by adding distinguishing names or numbers to their description fields.
On rez the gates are positioned automatically and can be relocated if the base is moved, by simple touch control. The movement of the gates is smooth, using a combination of both TargetOmega & SetRot commands. One gate precedes the other by 2 seconds to avoid collision, and each gate has sound effects.
The texture used for the base has a single track with timber infill for a realistic road crossing and the track gauge is set at the standard SLRR broad gauge (7 ft = 2.13m). Although this is adjustable to some extent, users have the options of changing the texture, or setting the base invisible, or positioning the base below existing track.
All prims have edit & copy permissions, so it is easy to change the crossing specifications to suit any existing system. Full instructions are given in a ReadMe file in the base Contents. In case of difficulty, a modified system can be supplied on request.
A complimentary road sign is included.

Great!!
I bought this because it was a very good representation of how it looks in the UK, which fits in with our Highlands of Scotland excellently.
If, like me, you are a fan of Brit Balogh's trains, this item can be controlled by their SLRR multifunction sensors and works perfectly. I now have auto closing barriers as the train approaches; just what I wanted!
