Mayan Countdown Clock Versão 2.1
This Mayan countdown clock was originally designed to count down the days and hours until December 21, 2012. The Mayan calendar finishes one of its great cycles in December 2012, which has nourished countless theories about the end of the world on December 21, 2012. Well.... this day passed and the world still goes on turning.
Of course you can use this countdown clock for many other purposes, for instance Christmas Day or your own birthday or the date you will go into retirement.
To program your clock you have to change the built-in script.
- Right click the clock and click Edit.
- Go to the Content tab. You will find the script there.
- Double click the script. It will open.
- Change the settings below according with your wishes.
// ENTER YOUR DATE TO COUNTDOWN TO
integer aYear = 2012;
integer aMonth = 12; // 1 through 12
integer aDay = 21; // 1 through 31
integer aHour = 12; // 12 is noon
integer aMinute = 0; // 0 through 59
integer aSecond = 0; // 0 through 59
integer aGMToffset = -8; // -8 for the SL clock
integer DST = TRUE; // TRUE or FALSE depending on daylight savings time.
integer giStarted;
// END SETTINGS
You also probably want to change the textstring further down the script:
llSetText("There are " + (string)days + s1 + (string)hours + s2 + (string)minutes + s3 + "left until December 21, 2012.", <1.0,1.0,1.0>, 1.0 ); //no seconds version
Change the text 'December 21, 2012' to the date or event you are counting down to. Finally click the Save button.
Now your clock will countdown until the time you entered.
Click the clock to toggle the hovering text on/off.
If you don't like the Mayan design you can simply turn the clock around 180 degrees and make from the back your front.
