Curly Pony Versão V1.0
The Galactic Toast pony is the most popular, most customizable, most widely supported pony avatar in SL.

As you might expect, both this and Mero's pony av have their own advantages, but you get more for your Lindens with this one. The Curly pony comes with tons of free manes and tails, whereas Mero's has only two sets, and this has a much more in-depth expressions system; there are tons of manual adjustments to make along with preset faces. (Plus, this is the only one with a built-in "derp" expression!) It also has a simple coloring system where you can color the mane, tail, eyes and accessories, but you can get as in-depth as you want with a full color chart. Many third-party clothing items are also recolorable with the HUD. Both have easy to use cutie mark placing features, but only Curly's has the option to mirror the image. The avatar is larger in size than Mero's as well.
When it comes to the animations and AO, Mero's are definitely more smooth and appealing and many awesome third-party anims are made for it as well. I'm not sure exactly how to explain this, but Curly's animations and mouth movement looks cartoony and Mero's looks somehow more graceful. Not to say that cartoony is a bad thing. The crouch-walk in particular is hilarious and the wings are less laggy and smoother here.
One of the main concerns for me is compatibility with third-party clothing/accessories. There are clearly more things being made for Mero's av, but the high quality and simple recoloring offered by the likes of NightEyes Fitzcarraldo and others makes it hard to turn down the Curly pony. Fortunately, both popular pony avs also come with very useful modding tools.
Over all, the Curly pony has more features and deeper customization. What's more: it's actually on the SL Marketplace! It all depends on which look you prefer.
