Prim Cleaner/Scrubber Script FREE
Use this script to clean/scrub prim of effects from scripts that wont stop after they have been removed.
Example: You add a rotation script to a prim and after removing the script it continues to rotate.
Placing the scrubber script into the prim will reset the objects attributes.
Because this script resets prim attributes it has to be supplied in a note card.
Please create a blank script and copy and paste the content of the notecard to the new file.
Once created just drag and drop the script into a prim when needed. You dont need to create it again.
Be careful where you place this script. If used properly its great, if used wrong you may lose things you dont want to lose.(from experience lol)

Doesn't erase contents for every linked object
There's another script scrubber that erases everything in each linked object contents, including itself. This one doesn't do it.

i really wanted to get rid of steam that was part of a full perm item i loved so much. the steam part is also cool but, i chose not to have it because its not the look i was going for. anyways, i just copied it to a new script as instructed and voila! worked like a charm. thanks again!!!

Just needed to get rid of some pesky hovertext that wouldn't go away. This did the trick very cleanly.
What a Relief
I accidentally inserted a script a while ago into my building platform. I deleted it but some hovertext remained and I could not get rid of it. It was driving me crazy. This script quickly and easily removed it so it won't be bothering me again. Thank you so much.
