Where is the Hud?
Just bought this, and looked throughout the folder...cannot find the HUD or the HUD's instructional card..........Help?
There isn't anything about this tree that I like.
My partner and I have been on SL for a long, long time. I bought it for her as a gift. She could do nothing with it. So I bought a second one. I could do nothing with it. I went back to the inworld store and I stumbled onto the HUD they talk about in the notes, that they did NOT provide with the tree, by accident. I wore the HUD, edited it so I could actually read it, and found it only controls the lights. They HUD apparently does nothing with the other decorations. I don't know how you rez those. I was so disgusted I deleted them.
A HUD powered object should control the object. Not just change the light colors. That is really basic scripting, and the builder missed creating a tree useful. Scam comes to mind. If I sound perturbed, I am.
Look elsewhere.

I waited awhile to make my review so I could play around with it a bit. I like how I can set each line of lights differently with the HUD, and for those that have said there is no HUD it is the same one that works the house lights you get free separately. I really enjoyed having the ability to turn music on and off in it, that way I wasn't stuck with hearing it all the time. The HUD itself was easy to use, took me a moment to figure out as I am not used to many HUDs in general. Overall I would recommend this to my friends, it really looked great.
