The Buttonjar underwater lighting set is an 'advanced lighting' special effects projector, that adds a lively underwater feeling to any undersea area. Perfect for mermaid homes and undersea bases, this 3LI lighting setup can add as much or as little light as you like. Brightness, rotation speed, and scale can be controlled via a simple touch menu.
Lighting color can be changed by simply tinting the object.
Since this is a lighting system that uses projectors, the best experiences will be seen when using viewers with "Advanced Lighting" enabled, and will often look even better with shadows enabled, and set to "Sun, Moon, and Projectors".

STILL GREAT BUT NEEDS AN UPDATE!!
I originally purchased this product back in 2015 and at that time this product seemed to be one of a kind in my opinion as I couldn't find anything else similar to it on the market or inworld and it was MUCH needed for underwater scenery!!! However, times have changed and though this product is STILL just as amazing now as it was when purchased I couldn't help but notice something is missing!! This product would work SO much better for underwater scenes if the intensity of light had the OPTION to also change with the rise and fall of the sun rather than ONLY having preset intensity options... outside of this item looking very UNNATURAL at nighttime, especially in bodies of water that use the SUN as a natural source of light rather then let's say.. "the lights in a swimming pool" This product is beautiful... But I do again sincerely hope an update comes soon for 2023 ♥

The effect of this is amazing! I do appreciate the tip about making sure the local lights are turned on in preferences and graphics. If you rez it and don't see anything, then make sure you check that.
