I have wasted I have no clue how many lindens on basic tree sculpts that don't work with any textures. I've even tried tweaking and modding the textures, too; but noting has worked, and quite frankly, I was pretty stinking peeved with the situation.
FINALLY I've found a simple one prim tree that doesn't look like absolute rubbish, AND it looks good from my max draw with a .25 second flash of distortion before everything disappears. It is worth every Ldime I paid for it!
If you want a basic .tga tree, blow the L$99. It's money well spent.
