A little cottage with a lovely old fashioned, rural exterior. Inside it has been renovated in a modern, discreet style whilst keeping some old style elements. (You are of course free to redecorate it any way you like.)
The cottage measures only 12x12 m but with two floors there is still plenty of living space for a single or a couple or maybe even a small family.
The land impact is only 10 or 11 - depending on the version.
The Windermere Cottage 02 comes in two different styles. The one for sale here, Windermere Cottage 02A, is the 10 LI version with a natural stone exterior. The Windermere Cottage 02B has a weathered redbrick finish and a decorative cornice across the lower edge of the gables. The cornice increases the land impact to 11.

Modifying the item
Chin Rey's Windermere Cottage 02A is fully modifiable. That means you can resize it to any size you like (either manually or with the enclosed MBAGR resizer script) and change the textures to anything you like.
(To avoid any misunderstanding: Chin Rey's Windermere Cottage 02A will be listed as not modifiable in you inventory. That is because it contains a no-modify script. Once rezzed, the item itself can be modified any way you like.)

About the Windermere Series
Chin Rey's Windermere is a series of late 19th Century/early 20th Century stone, plasterwall and brick buildings, ideal for a Victorian, countryside, steampunk or industrial age setting
There are currently three subseries:
• Windermere Town, or Windermere Townhouse: Town houses, some stores, some residental buildings and some combining both. Like all my houses, they are low prim and low lag but still full of details and with proper LOD. Unlike most such sets of matching town buildings, the Windermere town series consists of individually crafted houses, not just the same basic design with different textures and minor details. Each house in the series has its own character yet the buildings are similar enough in style they fit together as a wonderfully rich old town environment.
• Windermere Cottage: More rural residental houses in the same overall style as Windermere Town.
• Windermere Factory: Steampunk/industrial revolution style industrial buildings.

Chin Rey's Windermere Cottage 02A is sold with copy/modify permissions. That means you have permission to use in Second Life as many modified and unmodified copies as you like for your own personal use and as parts of public and rental builds owned by you or a group where you are one of the owners. You also have permission to keep as many copies as you like in your inventory. You do *not* have permission to distribute it in any way (This includes rezzing copies of the item on other people's land for other people's use!) or use it in any way outside Second Life.
