The Hover Car (sometimes known as The Captain's Car) is a classy, hi-tech, personal transport unit for top brass and other crew members. It uses a powerful rear jet thruster to transport you and up to 3 passengers effortlessly across the ground or through the atmosphere. This is also perfect RP for your high ranking crew to get around the bases. They can drive it themselves or sit in the back and let their personal driver do all the work.

You can learn to drive and fly it in just a few seconds. It can glide along the terrain surface as it auto-hovers just above the ground for a smooth ride. But you can also climb upwards and fly into the sky. The seats all have menu-driven pose adjustments to accommodate different avatar shapes. The central part of the plexiglass canopy can slide open and is controlled by touch or chat command. Two rear power cells glow with energy as you fly and turn themselves off when you stop.

Flying the Hover Car.
Open the canopy, then touch the pilot seat. Once you're seated, wait a second or two as the powerful anti-grav engines kick in and you hover gently. Now, you can move by using the forward/backward arrow keys to adjust the speed, use the left/right turn arrow keys to steer, and use the PgUp and PgDn keys to climb and descend.

Glass canopy dome.
The central part of the glass canopy dome slides open and shut to allows you to get in and out.

Adjustable pilot seat.
You can adjust the position of the pilot pose for whatever size avatar you use. Once you’ve adjusted it for your avi, the seat will remember your settings the next time you get on.

Passenger Seats.
There's multi-posed seating for three passenger. All the seats are adjustable.

Security.
The vehicle is DNA-locked, a security feature that allows only the owner to fly it. You won't have any worries of someone else jumping on and flying off with it after you've parked it.

Public Version Included.
Tell your personal driver to report for duty. We've included a public version that permits non-owners to operate this vehicle. Your personal version has white front lights but the public version has orange ones. It behaves exactly like your personal one except anyone is permitted to fly it. .

These vehicles are all scaled perfectly for use with the Exosphere Modules such as the Landing Terminal, the Landing Dome and the Vehicle Service Bays.
