The 1908 Stanley K Raceabout
---------------------------------------
The Stanley Motor Carriage Company operated between 1902 and 1917, and outsold every gasoline-fuelled car, with sales second only to Columbia Electric. The cars made by the company were referred to as Stanley Steamers. When they shifted the steam boiler to the front of the vehicle, the resulting feature was called by owners the "coffin nose."
OPERATION
Rez the wheels on the ground, sit on them, and wear the Body color of your choice. Passengers can sit on the black ball over the seat to the driver's left.
Page Up and Page Down shift gears, and handling has been tweaked for racing, so don't be afraid to let 'er rip!
Click on the "trunk" behind the driver to use the steam whistle! (Recording from Jay Leno's 1909 Stanley)
Click on the horn bulb for a more polite toot.
In offroad conditions, you can type "/3 mud" or "/3 snow" for dust particles. Turn them off again with "/3 clean".
If the steam effect at the back of your automobile is too laggy, or you simply don't want it, you can type "/3 start" and "/3 stop" to control that as well.
And finally, "/3 on" and "/3 off" control the headlamps.
Happy motoring!
I am discounting this item because it's an old fashioned SL vehicle with a rezzable base and wearable prim details.
