This is a table-top, land radio-changer modeled after some of the earliest jukeboxes from the 1930s. The originals had a microphone in the top section where you would speak, and an operator, (human,) would listen for your request and then play the song of your choice from the list.
When you click on this item, the cylinder of song lists turns at random, and a menu of pre-set radio stations will appear in your viewer.
The pre-set stations all pertain to the 1920s and 1930s, but a separate notecard is included with a longer list of a variety of stations for you to add to the radio's notecard*. You are also welcome to add your own preferred stations.
The notecards are both full perm. The body of the item is C/M/NT. The scripts are C/NM/NT. If you alter the size of the item, the cylinder will stop working correctly.
*Online radio stations have a habit of changing their URL numbers, or going off the air completely, so the included lists may change. I have no control over this, but if you find a large number of them have stopped working, please let me know and I'll research and send out a revised list. The extra notecard included contains more than 70 stations to choose from.
If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an IM. Offline IMs go to email, and I'll reply as soon as I'm able.
