1980s Plastic Charm Necklace by 4Kittens
Slightly tacky, but nostalgic and fun for fans of the 80s! The real ones were popular for a couple years, and the charms were trade-able. I remember having one of these myself.
For this SL version, there are 17 charms on the necklace, including a baby bottle, cherries, ice cream, cupcake, tennis racket, whistle, vinyl record, ship's wheel, pencil, and toilet (brown M&M to put in the toilet not included).
On touch, a scripted drop down menu allows you to select 10 different colors for the chain of the necklace (Light Pink, Orange, Light Blue, Red, Yellow, White, Lime Green, Hot Pink, Dark Blue, and Purple). PLUS, there's a 'Random' color button that randomizes a selection of all 10 colors on the chain. Just ONE script in the root prim is used to accomplish this, to minimize lag. Radical!
For more customization, I have left the necklace modify/copy, so you can play with the colors of the individual charms and adjust the fit. (The perms may say 'no mod' but that is because of the script inside.) It has 178 really tiny prims, so you may need a sandbox if you want to rez it! Be sure to save a backup copy before modding! (Did I mention the 178 really tiny prims?)
