I actually made all the sky textures for myself for building my personal sky sphere but I have decided to share it with you too. I was terribly dissatisfied with the skies I bought elsewhere. They were grainy and often did not tile seamlessly, even when it said it did. These textures are 1024 for high quality resolution and speed of rez. They tile along the horizontal axis but not along the veritical, as that would be rather pointless for how they would be used.

All textures sold by Mildly Jealous are produced by Mjander Krakaner. I do not resell "freebies," or seamless textures created by other people, either here in Second Life, or from elsewhere on the Internet. Textures are sometimes photo resourced, but are the unique work of Mjander Krakaner, according to fair use practices. They are carefully hand made, modified, drawn, or redrawn to be completely seamless and of the highest quality. Resolution will be either 512 or 1024 pixels as listed in the product details.

All my seamless textures are intended to be tiled and need to be adjusted to the correct ratio for the prim to which they are being applied, and for the size of that prim. All textures in Second Lfe appear somewhat different when applied to a sculpted prim. This is the nature of sculpties and some work better with seamless textures than others. A minimum of experimentation and experience is required with all seamless textures.

In the build toolbar you can see the option to SELECT TEXTURE, select that option. Now click one face of the prim and you'll see it's highlighted in white. Now go to the TEXTURE tab and choose your texture and SELECT. This tab will allow you to adjust the repeats per face, both horizontally and vertically, the offset, and the tint colour. For optimum results apply and adjust the texture on each face of the prim, one face at a time, by clicking on each side of the prim. All textures in Second Life need to be applied this way.

What rights are you granted?

You CAN apply the textures to the surfaces of items you create. These items may be for personal use or for sale in Second Life® or on web-based marketplaces which cater to Second Life® and its users, including Second Life® Merchant Marketplace and metaLIFE.

You CAN download our textures to your computer and modify them to complete your own building projects.

You CAN apply your own modified versions of the textures to the surfaces of the items which you sell in Second Life® or on the aforementioned web-based marketplaces.

What rights are you NOT granted?

You CANNOT sell or give away for free or in trade any MILDLY JEALOUS textures/texture files/texture assets, nor include them as texture files within the item contents of primitive-based objects or notecards.

You CANNOT sell or give away for free or in trade any MILDLY JEALOUS textures/texture files/texture assets which you have edited and/or modified on your computer (derivative works), nor include them as texture files within the item contents of primitive-based objects or notecards.

You CANNOT upload MILDLY JEALOUS textures, neither in original form nor derivative works thereof, into any other virtual world except for Second Life®. If you wish to purchase my textures for use in a virtual world other than Second Life®, please contact me via email for an Extended License Agreement granting such use.
