In RL, after being both kiln and sun dried for up to three months, these accent pieces are expertly hand-carved from a single block of strong wood by artisans in northern Thailand, and then painted.
In SL only ROYAL THAI GALLERY is allowed to sell these designs. We offer them in Standard Size wall and garden panels with identical clarity as the Real Life works of art. In SL these are sold MOD and TRANS.
We also offer some of these as MINI products that are intended to serve the same function as mass-produced print reproductions play in RL galleries and museums. These are faithful but much smaller reproductions, made available to the general public at a much lower price for who want to enjoy our standard art but can't see their way clear... at present... to paying the higher prices needed for better quality.
The MINIs are sold as TRANS only. While you can enjoy their beauty, you cannot enlarge them to get the full appreciation of their details. Carved on a very dense wood whose grain is rich in character in RL, the clarity of our copyrighted SL textures allows you to see the chisel marks and wood grain, and seemingly feel the wood..
The handcrafted nature of these statues will produce minor differences in design and sizing in RL. But in SL they are all the same AND you can resize them to fit where they give the most pleasure.
