Necessity is the mother of invention. I couldn't find a product to help align PBR textures across multiple surfaces so I created this material to just that. A modern take of the classic way of aligning textures. This grid is highly detailed to make aligning PBR textures easier.
To use this product first put the PBR material/texture you intend to use on the surface on it and scale it to the size that works best for you. Then replace that material with the PBR alignment grid and start aligning the texture so they line up. Once you have everything perfectly aligned then put the PBR texture you want back on to it.
It does take a lot of patience getting the alignment perfect but it was the only way I could find that works.
Brick texture is not included with this item, it is only to demonstrate after alignment.
