Dance Enclosure Notes (Notecard included in Box)
It is Modify so you can change it.
It is Copy so you can rez it over and over.
This building contains 4 prims, a wall, a solid water floor, a round dance area and a gold ring around the dance area.
The wall has one surface inside - all the way around and is solid as it comes to you. It has 4 outside surfaces that you can touch independently.
Each surface you touch will change textures to those found inside the wall object's contents. There are few like the stone pillars, rainbows, frosted glass, fog and clear. It is a megaprim so if you adjust the size or stretch it, it may pop to 10 meters in size (thats what SL does in older viewers). You can rez another though since its Copy.
The circular center floor has texture change too and it has nice textures of space, one of marble and one clear to see the water. It is a megaprim so if you adjust the size or stretch it, it may pop to 10 meters in size (thats what SL does in old vewers). You can rez another though since its Copy.
If you set the description of the whole building to "anyone" (no quotes),
anyone can touch and change things. If you set it to "no one" nobody can change it, even you. Anything else in there and only you the owner can change it.
Since the building is solid, the wall is too as it comes to you so you can put it in space and not fall out.
Since it is Modify you can use the Edit command on it, then use the menu command Tools -> Unlink to unlink the 4 prims into 4 independent prims.
Then you modify each as you please, including setting the wall prim to Phantom (in the Edit command) to make the wall walk-through. BEWARE that if you set to Phantom before unlinking the building, THE WHOLE BUILDING BECOMES PHANTOM AND YOU CAN FALL THROUGH IT.
Once unlinked you can add your own textures to the dance floor in the contents area using the Edit command. You can also use edit parts while linked.
The wall is the Root prim as it comes to you and you can add your own textures in its contents using the Edit command, but only seamless textures will look good because the wall surfaces are set in the texture tab (Edit command again) to make the rainbows look good. Its your building though so you can change that too to make any texture look right by changing the texture settings. Its Copy so you can practice on a copy.
The pool water floor is solid as it comes to you, but after unlinking the building, you can make it Phantom to walk through it. BEWARE that if you set to Phantom before unlinking the building, THE WHOLE BUILDING BECOMES PHANTOM AND YOU CAN FALL THROUGH IT.
This is a good learning tool too since you can copy and change things as you customize it.
All of the parts are megaprims, so if you resize or stretch it in any way, you will get a 10 meter version, so be careful.
You might want to use the Edit command to turn on the Lock setting so you can't break or take it accidentally.
