This device is intended to sort fatpacks and similar packages of items; the user places items inside of it and, with some input, automatically create folders in the owner's inventory with the sorted items in the back, based on the criteria given.
So, for instance, if the owner wanted to sort items that came in red, blue, and green colors, the sort would send 3 seperate folders, one named for the red items (with all red items within the folder), one named for the blue items (with all blue items within the folder) and one named for the green items (you get the point).
On-screen help will guide you through the entire process.
And what's more, the sorting box itself is completely and utterly cute, designed by the insane mind of Nakira Tennen.
There are two sort modes:
* Sort by Rule, which allows you to specify sort criteria to be applied to all of the items
* Sort by Keyword, which allows you to specify a keyphrase and retrieve all items with that keyphrase.
The sorter does have a few limitations:
1. You must have COPY permission on all items you sort.
2. Using the most powerful sort method (Sort by Rule), all items must have a similar naming scheme. If items are named too differently, you can sort by keyword only.
3. It's possible, but hard, to overload QuickSort's memory allowance if you attempt to sort too much at one time. The exact number will vary depending on the length of the item names, but I estimate it will handle about 200 items in most cases. (If it does overload, resetting the scripts will fix it.)
