The 1949 model Eight was Mercury’s sleeker model sedan featuring their “Ponton” look. Originally equipped with a Flathead V8 this low and wide look was to later catch the eye of Hot Rod guru Sam Barris's eye and lead to the radical Led Sled Rods of the late 40's and 50's. This Led Sled model Eight comes radically chopped and lowered mimicking the original Led Sled made back in 1949. This model is completely de-trimmed and all lights are 'Frenched' combined with the serious lowering this ride is the epitome of cool.
732 rides come complete with all the textures maps (mod/copy to help with personalisation). The four bespoke poses (Drive, Turn, Reverse and Shift) are all made for the machine. The model is MOD COPY (not the scripts!) allowing you to tinker with it to produce a personal ride. The Car is 99% made by me with the remaining 1% consisting of the the brilliant KCP ACS vehicle scripts containing all the functions you have come to expect of a high end vehicle script. This means if you have any problems all you need do is get in touch and you will actually get informed help... how novel for SL? All accompanying pictures are made in world using projectors, lights a few props and all settings turned up to 11 (I use Photoshop for my textures not to tweak the adverts!)
These vehicles are very high detail which unfortunately involves a high Prim count so are not suitable for racing or prim conscious land owners. Unfortunately the models do not carry passengers. If you have any questions, further details or to book a personal showing and testing session please IM me or send me a note card.
