REPLICA SERIES
True to life single seat F/A-18C Hornet, squadron VMFA-232 "Red Devils" 01/WT BuNo 165186, flown by Lt. Col. Daniel L. Shipley, call sign "Knuckles" in Afghanistan (see images above).

If you are an advanced user this kit also provides you with the means to personalize the livery with your name placed on the aircraft. Related note cards and guide texture included FOR THE NAME ONLY.

This F/A-18C was flown by Lt. Col. Daniel L. Shipley in real life and it has the real BuNo, markings and his name on. You can still replace his name by yours if you wish.
If you would like to revert to the REPLICA just use the C model paint box again, but I recommend saving a REPLICA and applying your name to a copy if you wish to have your name on the C model. :)

You can fly with a friend using the Alternate Series livery version D model (available as stand alone or in a two pack on EIGHT SHADES OF BLUE - see related items).

THIS IS A v1.3 KIT - do NOT apply to older versions of the aircraft - please make sure you have the latest update - v1.3 or higher!
See images above for results of the same texture applied to v1.2 and v1.3 - and that is just a detail. Version 1.3 has a more accurate and work friendly frame, please update asap.
