Dedicated to the original tourists, the young men who undertook the so called Grand Tour, visiting the cities where mostly renaissance art flourished in the past centuries.

The Grand Tourists were mainly Upper Class Europeans and primarily the young members of the British Nobility. Often the tour lasted a whole year and sometimes even two years. It was usually associated with a standard and well defined itinerary mostly in the France and Italy.

Paris, Geneva, then the cities of the North Italy, Turin, Venice then further south to Florence and Rome and usually the tour ended in Naples sometimes in Sicily.

Our first Grand Tour Set is dedicated to the city that was the center of the Italian and European Renaissance: Florence.
The painting depicting a panorama of Florence as a souvenir of the tour, a Baedeker and a map of the city as a guide for the visit and a nice bottle of Chianti and some excellent Toscano cigars the permanence in the hotel room was surely made pleasant.

We hope this set can make you relive that 19th century rite of passage that often was a Grand Tour.

The whole set is 5 Land Impact, it has copy and mod permissions and the chair carries 2 animations using AV sitter for the setting. The textures and the mesh are all original and use materials for some added realism with Advanced Lighting Model.

The chair, the luggage and the painting are separate objects for easier positioning.
