Excellent Plane

This is a great plane and a very good deal for a modern (as of 2020) plane with the newest scripts. I can't tell you how many times I have paid much more for a plane, many years older with outdated aesthetics and scripts.

I always love planes that give you the option of a hud, and it's great there are also touch features for accessing the menu. Built-in paint schemes are also a bonus.

The plane flies very smoothly and is representative of its subsonic ground-support/attack design. When you push the throttle, you get a modest boost of power, but it does not all of a sudden turn into the Gripen, which is good, because it gives you a reason to buy the Gripen (which I did).

As far as 'realistic' goes, well, until someone makes the screen go black and you lose control for the seconds you are passed out from excessive G-forces, ask yourself just how 'real' you want your flight physics. I do enjoy a bit more challenging than arcade, and I think this plane delivers that well enough for me. It's a joy to fly and has the capability to carry out combat maneuvers for role-playing if you so chose. It's not an F-16, so it's not going to handle like one. If you want faster meters per second at similar thrust settings, then the Gripen is the one you should demo. The A4 is a short runway take-off bully, so don't expect to use the entire sim to get airborne.

There really isn't anything to complain about with this A4. The cockpit fits typical (large) male avatars, so resizing isn't needed, the outside of the plane is outstanding, and the inside is nice, too. The builder did not go overboard making all controls and gauges so perfect while neglecting flight performance. I really think there is a nice balance here.

For the quality of the build, handling of the plane in flight, ease of use with the hud, and the price, this plane is very hard to beat and I would highly recommend this A4 over any others currently for sale in SL.
