ABA Wind Radar makes navigation easy!

HOW TO USE THE WIND RADAR:
In your inventory, make a copy of your radar, in case you damage it.

Click on the logo at the top to maximize and minimize the radar.
Add the wind radar. It will be set as a HUD.

Resize and move it as needed for your preferences. The set text cannot be moved, so this will limit the size you choose.

DO NOT RESIZE THE HUD WHILE IT IS MINIMIZED. This will damage the HUD.

The radar is now running and ready to use.

HOW TO READ THE RADAR:
There are 10 arrows on the HUD that will display the direction of the wind at 25m intervals, by detecting the movement of your balloon.

The center one is a different color from the rest and it shows your current direction and altitude.

The arrows will rotate as your balloon rotates, and they will show the direction you go from your current view at various altitudes.

If you want to go left, look for an arrow going left, read the altitude above the arrow, and take your balloon to that altitude.

Since the radar needs time to gather direction data, avoid going extremely fast, vertically, to avoid getting bad readings.

Wind directions change some as you go from sim to sim, and they also change daily. It is a good practice to reset your HUD when starting on your trip.

The side bars will show you a visual representation of your vertical position between layers.

To reset the HUD, press and hold your mouse on the center disk for about 5 seconds and then release. You should see all of the arrows clear.
