THORIUM COMMUNICATION DRONE
The THORIUM DRONE is a powerful communication tool, whether you are connected, disconnected, present on your land or on any other SIM.
It consists of several modules:
1) The drone displays: your presence online or offline with a coloured neon and written functional indications,
2) The welcome module that says hello to the person approaching the drone in the language of the avatar. All messages can be personalised by the integrated notecard.
3) A "CHAT BOT" relay that listens to everything that is written in the local chat room within a 20m radius around it and retransmits the messages with indications.
a) The name of the drone and its position, so that you can eventually teleport to its vicinity,
b) The name of the avatar and the written sentence,
c) Possibility to answer directly by IM to the avatar who wrote.
4) A detection radar to indicate the arrival of an avatar on an adjustable radius from 5m to 95m, with information. A message is sent to you with :
a) The transmitting drone,
b) The name of the detected avatar,
c) Its location,
d) Possibility to contact the avatar by IM or even voice and teleport to its vicinity.
This is an excellent way of communicating efficiently thanks to the Chat Relay tool and the detection of avatars visiting your land.
You can place several Drones to manage different locations, the detection zone being adjustable.
A welcome message is broadcast in the language of the detected avatar, once a day to avoid annoying it with multiple repetitions.
The messages are customizable by a notecard with 2 lines per language.
1) Welcome message, followed by the name of the avatar that is automatically detected.
Example: "Welcome Harlequin".
2) An information message: "You can request information by entering your question in the local chat.
This communication DRONE allows your visitors to contact you by chat even if you are on another SIM.
They just have to write a message when they are near the drone and you will receive the text with the name of the person who wrote to you and the phrase entered.
By clicking on the person's name in the chat window, IM/PROFILE opens, so you can communicate in IM text, open the profile and start a private voice.
If you are disconnected, you can receive these messages by Email if you activate the "REPORT" function.
THE DRONE MENU :
The drone menu allows you to configure the drone
To activate the drone menu, click directly on it.
You can rename it, delete it, ask it to follow you to another place, deactivate the chat relay and deactivate the radar that warns you when someone comes close to the drone or activate the sending of messages by email when you are disconnected.
The colours of the drone's neon light indicate your connection status
MENU BUTTONS
- FOLLOW ME: The drone follows you if you want to change its location,
- STAY HERE: To fix its location,
- CHATBOT OFF or ON : Disable or enable the t'chat relay function which allows your visitors to send you written messages. The avatar must be within 20m of the drone,
- RADAR OFF or ON : Disable or enable the radar which indicates the arrival of an avatar in its proximity on an adjustable radius from 5 to 95m,
- REPORT OFF or ON : Activate or deactivate the sending of message by Email when you are disconnected.
- RANGE: Allows you to adjust the detection distance of the proximity radar.
The setting is made by entering a value between 5 and 95 meters radius.
A circle is displayed for 30 seconds to show the area of influence.
During this time, you can move the drone to the exact location you want.
A camera rollback may be necessary to view the coverage area.
- RENAME: Rename your drone. This is useful for locating it better when you receive a message
- DELETE: Delete the drone,
- EXIT: Exit the menu.
NEON COLOURS :
- INDIGO BLUE: You are online and the messages in the chat are sent to you,
- VIOLET : You are online but the messages in the chat are not sent to you,
- RED: You are disconnected.
All these indications are displayed in the menu window when you open
