GREETER FROM AGNES CHALET CREATION

You have purchased a greeter from Agnes Chalet Creation. We hope you will enjoy it. Please read sinctructions below to put it online.
Greeter functions
---------------------------------
The greeter will greet any visitor coming close by or colliding with it (see optin below). It will give the greeting message either in open chat either in IM (see option below). The greeter can also give a notecard (optional).
Once greeted a visitor will not be greeted again until a certain time (see option below).
You will be able to get emailed reports of persons greeted on a periodic basis (see option below).
Detection mode
-----------------
You have to detction options.
COLLISION:
The avatar will have to collide with the greeter to be detected. This can be done my laying the greeter on the floor where people have to walk thru. In this mode make sure you don't set the greeter to be phantom or people will not be detected.
SENSOR:
In this case the greeter will detect visitors using a sensor. You will be able in parameters to choose sensor range and frequency. This option may create lag if frequency is too high.
BOTH:
Both modes will be used simultaneously.
Greeting mode
----------------
There are two greeting modes to choose from.
OPEN:
The message will be delivered in open chat
IM:
The message will be delivered in IM.
Greeting message
--------------------
The greeting message is made of two parts with the visitor name in between.
Example 1:
Message before = Hello,
Message after= welcome.
Result will be: Hello, Agnes Chalet welcome.
Example 2:
Message before =
Message after= hello and welcome.
Result will be: Agnes Chalet hello and welcome.
Example 3:
Message before = Welcome here
Message after=
Result will be: Welcome here Agnes Chalet
Deliver content
-----------------
The greeter will deliver to a visitor all the greeter content with NAME NOT STARTING WITH $.
It can be any type of content from notecard to landmark, object, anim ...
Greeting frequency
----------------------
To avoid disturbing visitors you can set a minum time in minutes between two greetings to the same visitor. See parameters below.
Note that if log is emailed it resets times and one visitor can be greeted again in a shorter time.
Receive greeter log
---------------------
In the parameter file you can setup an automatic email of the greeter log to as many email addresses as needed.
In the parameters you can put multiple emails and also set the email frequency. The log list is cleared after each email.
Group option
--------------
You can set the greeter to greet or not people belonging the the same group as the greeter. See in parameters.
Modifying the greeter shape and texture
---------------------------------------------
The greeter is full mod for shape and texture. Make it the shape that will suit you the best.
In COLLISION mode make sure to keep not not phantom. Then best is to make it as a doormat.
In SENSOR mode you can make it as tiny as needed to be hidden.
You can make the greeter transparent if needed.
Parameters

The greeter contains a natecard name "$Parameters" containing basic setup options:
