Are you satisfied with the default camera position?
You can adjust your camera position with the SL viewer GUI, but if you walk or turn after adjustment, it will go back to the default position.
This HUD gives you the ability to change your default camera position itself.
You can move your camera forward, backword, up, down and can change the camera angle upward/downward.
Also you can save several favorite camera positions, and can call back them for appropriate situations.
Especially useful for unusual sized avators (tinies, dragons, etc.).
This is *almost* perfect!
The main thing is that this absolutely does let you set your camera height, distance and angles exactly how you want, so many, many thanks for that! I honestly don't understand how this isn't built into SL standard.
The only issue I have is that it appears to disable the Front, Side and Rear View buttons that are built into the SL camera settings. I'd appreciate it if those still worked, even if I can't set the side and front views to a custom setting. I still need to switch to front view quite often, and with this HUD enabled, I have to manually rotate the camera around to the front now which takes a lot longer than simply clicking Front View.
If this were updated to do that, this would literally be perfect.

Very nice and much needed little tool. Adjusted it exactly how I wanted with a few clicks and saved the angle within the HUD in seconds.
Every designer in SL should have one of these. You can look right at what you are creating instead of looking at the floor and if you should turn around, when you come back to your work it is still in view and ready to work on. Once attached and adjusted, you can make the HUD vanish with a quick command and forget that you have it on. No screen clutter at all.
Copy permissions would be a nice plus for the product but the product is moderately priced, so that can be overlooked.
