Agayu/Agallu/Aganyu/Aggayu
Lord of the Volcano, the desert, earthquakes, riverbanks, and creative energy. He rules over fire and lava, and carries a double-edged axe. His colors include burgundy, red, gold, and the 9 colors of Oya; his sacred number is 9. Said to be either the father or the brother of Chango. Agayu's mother is Oroina, the orisha of lava and magma, the energy of the earth's core. Cognate with St.. Christopher the ferryman.
