this was recommended by a friend and i am glad i listened to her! You can separate the pieces and use them as your layout needs. Realistic appearance and low prim for the size and detail.
Gorgeous - to most it will be worth it's price. Not worth it if you do not have the LI to spare.
I, personally, think it is worth the 1k, but others might not be, nor might they have the prim allotment to have more than a couple slips rezzed out.
The unlinked bundle [what is pictured in the AD a few times] comes out to 99 LI when rezzed out, for the 4 Boat Slips. Some might find that incredibly high for it's price. Once they are all linked together, the prims do not really drop down, they might by 5-10 LI, depending on if you've edited their size.
I have 8 slip spots rezzed, 5 on one side, and a second set of 3 mirrored next to it, and it comes out to 183 prims. I am only able to link up half of each, so the 6 gangways at the top are linked [108LI], and the 3 at the bottom are linked [75 LI].

The pole with the Lifesaver, next to the overhead lamp, is attached to the long dock that makes up the slip itself, it is not part of the pier/gangway, so when you go to make it look like mine, you have to go into Edit Linked and pull out 3 pieces to try and save prims. Doing this brought me from 186 prims for what is pictured, down to 183, linked. Unlinked, they're at 196 after removing the 12 pieces.
Wonderful set, LOD is damn decent [I would say medium distance?] and they look amazing - for me they are worth their heavy LI.

AL's work is amazing!!! I love it all. I don't think there's anything I don't own...if there is, it's only a couple of items! I love and use it all! The mesh detail is next to none!!!
