The tradition black that will fit any occasion. When in doubt, go black, unless you are daring enough to wear on of the other colors in this gown.

On a personal note: The prim flexi skirt gives more depth to the gown. The gown does have a low slit in the front, however, I've never liked it when walking and the shoes pop out the back. Not all walk animations do that; mine does. So I shade out my legs and feet and wear no shoes most of the time; especially with this dress because of the flexi skirt covering up the spot where your feet normally show. So, try it with and try it without the skirt.
