The following script : "*AS/ES* Simple Mailbox" is a simple script for anyone to use.
This is perhaps one of the most easy to customize and use mailbox scripts around, simply add a prim with the description "Hover". That will be where the info will be displayed so any one can have their text exactly where they want it!!!
Menu (On startup or when touched by owner)
Displays mail amount at all time.
-Set Hover Msg: Allows the owner to setup a hover message all contained within a simple text drop input.
-Set TXT Color: Allows owner to input a vector color for the hover text.
-Set TXT Alpha: Allows the owner to set the opacity of the hover text.
-Set E-Mail: Allows owner to input his/her email to have messages sent to them when a new item is placed into the mailbox.
-Set Thanks: Allows the owner to setup a message to be said in local to those who place an item into the mailbox.
-Un/Allow Drop: Allows owner to allow or unallow inventory drop.
Updates in real time so you can see how it looks as you go!!!
You will never need to open the script, :D!

Does not recognize notecards.
I applied this script exactly as instructed. The hover text works, the settings seems to change, but the mailbox will not recognize notecards inserted into it. Big bummer. 1 star, avoid.
