A fully modular SCS compatible trailer system, works with all SCS vehicles and SCS trailer hitch addons released by AT!
You can easily modify this trailer to suit your needs, make your own addons

Contents:

AT SCS Trailer --------------------- The main object
AT Flatbed addon ---------------- An included basic flatbed addon
AT Preset Semi Trailer ----------- A preset semi trailer fit for the Lusch Ajax and Hermes
Cargo Follow Script -------------- An included free to transfer cargo follow script to turn objects into cargo

\\\How to use///

For hitching consult the manual for the vehicle, or hitch addon, as those have the information how to hitch an SCS Trailer.

It is compatible with all of AT's trailer hitch addon releases, and all future releases too.
It is compatible with SCS Vehicles from Moo Spyker as well!

Rez the preset trailer, and its ready to use with a Hermes and Ajax truck with the semi truck 5th wheel hitch addon!

Rez the AT SCS Trailer and begin configuring it by clicking the hitch of it to get the owner dialog

You can also link addons to it, some addons will adjust parts of the trailer via developer API

There is a known issue with simcrossings on mainland!

\\\Owner Dialog Tree///

Click the hitch of the trailer to get this menu!

TrailerLength --------- Adjusts the frame extention's length
RideHeight ----------- Adjusts how high the trailer rides from the ground (the maximum value of this is affected by wheel size)
WheelDiameter ----- Adjusts the size of the wheels by diameter
WheelType ----------- Toggle between dualy tires and singular tires
ShortTail -------------- Adjust the chassis ending piece to be shorter, righ up against the axle piece instead of a longer frame
HitchType ------------- Change the hitching type to between Ball joint, 5th wheel, or Gooseneck
HitchHeight ----------- Change this to offset the hitch position from the trailer chassis
Apply ----------------- This applies the configuration you put in

When configuring the trailer via dialog, changes are not immedietly shown, you have to hit apply and wait for the trailer to load and configure itself!

5th wheel and gooseneck type only hitches on saddles type hitches, while ball hitch will only hitch on the small ball hitches

\\\Advanced Modifications///

Trailer system is fully resizable! You can resize it with SL's edit tools, simply scaling it up on all axis, then you can configure its wheel size and ride height in the owner menu, or you can resize it on any custom axis you want, by editing the root prim's size.

Resizing applies when you apply the settings in the owner dialog

The included Flatbed addon will follow with this resizing, please note that not all addons are self resizing, it is up for the addon developers what they create! Consult manuals for addons always about resizing!

You can also unlink and link as many wheels and axles as you like, when the trailer is rebuilt (hit apply in the owner dialog after changing somethings) it will automatically set itself up, rebuild itself.

With all these settings and rebuildability combined, you can have vastly different trailers in different shapes and sizes, axle counts, mounting mechanisms, and lengths!

\\\Included Flatbed addon///

Rez the included flatbed addon, and simply link it to your trailer chassis to install it, thats the basics for it

You can also fiddle with this:

The flatbed addon's deck is made of 3 types of deck piece, the back which is the root prim, the middle piece, and the front piece.
It comes with two middle pieces linked to it, you can unlink both, or just one to shrink the length of your flatbed, you can also extend the length of your flatbed by adding another middle piece, making it 3 in total.

Once you are done with unlinking and linking, make sure the middle pieces are named the following:
FlatbedMid1, FlatbedMid2, FlatbedMid3, and they exist in that order from back to front!
So if you have three, have all three named accordingly, if you have only one, then should have a Mid1 only, if you have two, Mid1, and Mid2 should exist, That is the default setup.

You do not need to position anything, just link them and name them, once the flatbed is linked to your trailer chassis it will automatically set everything up.

The flatbed deck can also carry SCS compatible cargo. It carries cargo when attached to a towing vehicle, and drops cargo when unhitched from the towing vehicle.

Turn objects into cargo by putting the included cargo follow script into them.

Operate the trailer legs on your flatbed deck, by clicking the legs themselves, or by clicking the crank on the side.

You can also change the linkset of the flatbed trailer after it has been linked to the trailer, you just have to rebuild the trailer when done, aka change somethings in the owner menu, and click apply

OK, the title say it loud.

I like AT items, and i m really fan of the GFS/GFSL compatible ones.

It is a great addon, i had to buy it to be able to add the tanker addon on it (related to the point below, that will be cool to have a semi tanker to drive huge quantity of fuels).
The trailers are really nicely done, and very customizable.

BUT.. to drive, it is really a apin in ass. At each sim crossing we need stop and wait, wait, wait.... wait.... w....a....i....t.... that the trailer will follow the truck.

So yes it is Plus and Minus for that, and I waited much more of that product. For display, it s really amazing. To drive it s a big No.

It s maybe only the point that the other trailer system i know work the way they do, only because the trailer is a simple and unique object, and not a linkset. This one, the link between the tractor and the trailer is "virtual"

One of absolutelly best mods in Second Life! Impossible becomes possible, decor objects begin to move! Works awesome with sim crossings, huge confuguration possibility, very good support from the owner. I highly recommend!

Don't think, buy and make something special for your car! :))
