Controlling the car

This is an electric vehicle, it drives like an electric vehicle
You change the power ratios with notches, instead of gears, low power notch gives more torque but less speed like gears

Keep the amps low to conserve power!

Steering is gradual, you can tap it to turn in wider arc

Hold down both gear changing keys to put gear back to zero/neutral right away
Hold Down both steering keys to flip vehicle if upside down

Cornering in this vehicle is much more different from regular SL cars, the steering does not scale with the speed, and instead it lets you control how much you turn the wheel!

Entry speed, turning arc, braking during the corner, road surface all matters when turning!

Because this vehicle is electric, you have throttle notches! They are similar to the gears of a regular car, it sets how much
power and torque is allowed to the wheels from the engine.
Be advised! Torque is instantly applied on this vehicle since it is electric, it does not need to wind up.
If you launch off from a total stop in max throttle, you will be flying off in a rapid burn out

The output power varies based on your throttle setting and speed; how much work the engine has to fork out to achieve the desired effects. The more power (amps) the engine takes, the faster it drains the battery.. Be advised! Economy driving is actually a thing, and entirely based on how you drive the vehicle! There are no settings or dialogs for this. Like for example, going max throttle up a hill will just lead to slippage and losing control over the car while taking up significantly more power.

Both driver and passenger can adjust their seating positions by using simple chat commands on channel 1 the format is /1<axisname>,<offsetvalue>

The vehicle is equipped with Dynawheels System, that means it dynamically detects the road surface you drive on, by adding the surface keywords to the description or name of prims, which the vehicle recognises, such as:
Asphalt, Concrete, Sand, Dirt, Metal, Grass, Snow, Ice, Water. Anything else the vehicle assumes to Asphalt which is default material.
The vehicle assumes terrain as dirt, you can override this by putting a keyword into the parcel description which is the road surface type within two star characters, example: *snow* This keyword will make the vehicle think the terrain is snow

Custom PSD file for the paint job texture only is supplied in the full manual

Awesome set of wheels!

I was skeptical at first about this thing, but I took it for a test drive and WOW I was amazed. The suspension is very realistic, more-so than any other vehicle I've driven in SL, the customization options are great, and the side-gun is pretty powerful. All in all, great vehicle for a variety of situations.

Actually fun to ride, very responsive suspension.

So I was abit iffy on buying this after a dissapointing purchase of the Quadrant launcher.

Long story short, it's money well spent. I was very surprised to find out the suspension system this guy used was very responsive. I dare to say more so than the regular SCS vehicles. This makes it fun to drive over rough terrain or low obstacles. As a joy ride, it's also fun to hit ramps or other sharp pieces of terrain and send this buggy into an amusing roll, with impact sounds upon hitting anything hard enough.

The vehicle model itself looks fantastic. Tho, I am one that's fond of simpler designs, so that's just me. Also my opinion is that the rear is too plain. There could've been a 3rd seat back there with the engine under it, as with the 'normal' DPV (Desert Patrol Vehicle).

Another opinion, the sounds make me think this thing is an electric lawnmower. But speaking of sounds, I do like how the 'drift' sounds can change between driving over SL land and over prims.

Controls: This is what kept me from giving this thing 5 stars. The "Gradual steering" is a nifty idea, but, it can get annoying. I'm usually either over or understeering. As for the gears and their speed/torque. Well, for one, it can be funny to set yourself at gear 9 (the highest) from a stop and take off, easily causing you to drift until you happen to start driving fast enough without hitting anything. But unless you have lots of open room, you won't be reaching a decent speed often without slipping.

All in all, it's a good vehicle. I've enjoyed it thus far as a casual/ joy ride deal.
