Best feral dragon on the market, imo.
I'll preface this with saying I've been looking for an eye-catching, well modelled, well animated dragon for YEARS and this delivers in every aspect. If you're familiar with Timber Wilds avatars or the BRDMRT griffin, I'll go as far as to say this is the dragon equivalent.
Right out of the box you get a handful of classic colors (black/white/red/green/blue/gold) to work with which you can tint and fine-tune to get what you want. There are a decent amount of BOM markings (belly, stripes, scales, etc) to further make your dragon uniquely "you"-- you can layer them however you'd like to get the look you want. Back to the TWI comparison, similar to how you can get a nice-looking unique avatar with the presets alone! You have plenty of (unrigged!!!) horns and eyes to choose from too, and you can mix/match horns, resize them, or stretch them for extra individuality.
The normal maps are gorgeous and give a sense of depth to the scale pattern, rather than just having a flat scale texture. The texture PSDS are easy to work with, though they're more for intermediate modders with how they're split into multiple UVs instead of one like other ferals. It's totally understandably why they're this way though, otherwise you wouldn't have that crisp detail. Still easy enough to wrap your head around if you don't mind matching up some seams here and there!
The flying anims are super fluid, as are most other anims the avatar comes with. You have a handful of expressions, tongue states, 4 breaths to choose from, standard animation sets for feral avatars (sit, sleep, yes/no, dance, rearing up, growling, roaring, biting, display, threat pose, submissive).
The only real gripe I have is the HUD size is mostly taken up by a dragon image but I was able to resize it just fine with the edit window. There's also the lack of a lay animation, but that's easily remedied with third party animations.
All in all, a fantastic dragon that rivals others on the marketplace at the moment!
Holy wow!
This avatar is beautifully made and has insane potential! Out of the box you're getting a (fully) customizable, functional BOM dragon with multiple expressions and animations for characterization. I'm tempted to get into making and selling mods just for this beauty.
I'm excited to see what the modding community does for this dragon! In my opinion, it's well worth the price for the base avatar alone. As a subjective aside, I really love the "people-like" hands it has. They're very cute and convincing for a dragon character who actually manipulates and holds things with its hands. The overall aesthetic nails the blend between draconic reptilian and a hint of mammalian evolutionary traits.
