Contains 59 audio samples, from 1 to 8 seconds in duration, with a range of clarity/static
The samples are clips from Public Domain recordings of ATC operations in the vicinity of Vancouver and Anchorage
Note the last two characters of the filename indicate approx duration (eg "atcNN_3s" = 3 seconds)
Audio files are Copy & Modify permission.
The included script will play the clips in random order with short random pauses. Touch for On/Off menu. Optional Float Text reports filenames as they play. Script is Full Permission so you can tweak it as required
The package is distributed in a simple "ham transceiver" textured radio, courtesy of Ⓓoc Ⓡast (rasterscan)
I hope that these audio files will be useful for SL aviators to add to their soundscape. It should serve equally well in an airstrip control tower or worn in headphones (or HUD) for in-flight radio comms. Have fun!
- 59 audio clips of ATC radio chatter
- Script to play random audio
- Boxed in a radio textured cube
Brilliant and easy to use
I love the authenticity of this simple to use App. YA even gave me a HUD for inflight ease of use at takeoff and approach. Highly recommended
