This is a very exciting entry into the Helicopter arena in Second Life. There will be a lot to learn in the beginning as you start flying your new Marine Lama. Please take it slowly and you will be rewarded with an exceptional flying experience. We would like to start you off with a brief history of the Lama. The Lama is loosely based on the Real Life Aerospatiale SA-315b Lama. While this is not intended to be an exacting replica of the original aircraft as we know it in RL, it is intended to give a historical representation in Second Life that you can fly and enjoy.
You can read more about the technical specifications and history of the original aircraft here:
http://www.heli-archive.ch/en/helicopters/in-depth-articles/aerospatiale-sa-315b-lama/
We do hope that you take a few minutes to appreciate the Lama and it's exceptional history.
Note: This is not a Aerospatiale product nor does Animate Works intend it to represent any real life product , only to emulate the spirit and character of what was once a great machine from the real world for your fictional enjoyment within Second Life. Any similarities are purely intended as fiction.

Definitely WOW
I agree with the above comments....wow! And btw, you have to see this helo inworld...the pictures don't do it justice. The flight characteristics are what I remember when I had a chance to fly an R22 years ago...its definitely a balancing act between collective and cyclic as in RL and it took me a few days to really get the hang of it (probably only a few hours total). You will love flying this! Great job to the team who created it and hope to see more and maybe some addons!
All I can say is WOW
Close to realistic, Still a little slow but is great for learning in and crossing Sim lines. well worth it.
