The AZ Notepad & Pencil is designed for those budding reporters, avid bloggers or anyone who enjoys some old style technology!. Why not team it with one of the range of pens, pencils or feather quills also available from AZ Emporium.
As these items are attached to your body they do not impact on prim limits or stop you using them in no build areas. *ALL LINDEN HOME OWNERS - THAT MEANS 0 PRIM IMPACT TO USE*
You may find though in no script areas that you cannot use the animated items.
PRIOR TO USING
*Detach or turn off all walking and movement Animation Overrides (AO).
** default attachments are to your hands, so any other attachments may be removed.
USING YOUR NOTEPAD
Pencil: transfer only
- I suggest you wear this item first (it will attach to your right hand, this item has no scripting)
Notepad: modify & transfer
- simply wear the notepad from your inventory (it will attach to your left hand)
- touch the anywhere to access the menu to write, pause, stop or show a choice of 6 written options (yes, no, maybe, story, smiley, I love you)
*if you find that you stand after removing any other wearable items, simple click the chair to use another sit pose OR change sit poses.
MODIFYING YOUR NOTEPAD:
- as the notepad is modify/transfer (animations & scripts are transfer only) you can personalise the look of your notepad
- I suggest the main modification would be to the coloured cover, simply use the build menu to change the colour/texture of these prims only
** please note this item includes scripting so any modifications made to the design that break the script will not be replaced.

well made but ... needs to be copy and mod! (can't use as is)
I bought and loved the binocs and so bought these ... more expensive and disappointing. The pencil is huge and cannot be resized. Besides, I don't get the no copy/ no mod logic. Sometimes my avatar is different sizes for different characters and it's much nicer when I can create a version for each and link them to outfits. Very nicely made with a nice animation, but disappointed about the perms.

I cover events like a journalist, and this really enhances the feel of that role. And I love the extras like the "yes" "no" "maybe" etc that you can actually show people. The animations are fantastic, the options are generous, and it's nicely priced. Very happy!

Very nice little prop
I looked a lot into different notepads, free and otherwise. I wanted a prop for my character's old fashioned journalism; this is perfect, and worth the extra cost (considering some of the competition is free.) Lovely animations, great control via menu, and easy to use. Looks fantastic.
Only slight quibble is the instructions notecard cannot be read by the customer, but it's not a tricky product to work out, and certainly no reason to remove a star. Top marks!
