Abby is a slim hourglass shape for the Lelutka Billie mesh head and Belleza GenX Classic Regular mesh body. Three anatomically correct shapes are included for heights of 1.8, 1.85, and 1.9 meters.

Honestly there are allot of people making shapes in SL, and some of them I think are actually pretty good. On top of that making shapes isn't exactly rocket science and many people choose to make their own shapes, or just use the shapes that came with their mesh head or body. With all of the options, I see some very common problems with shapes. In general not so many are designing shapes to be anatomically correct. And even if you start out with a good shape, once you are done modifying and tweaking it to your taste proportions tend to get messed up. Unfortunately Second Life doesn't give us an easy way to scale an avatar. When you change the height of an avatar body, thats exactly what the slider does, it changes the height of the body, it doesn't change the length of legs, arms, neck, or size of your head. The result is so many avatars with have heads that are anatomically too small, arms that are too short, legs that are too long, and breasts that defy the existence of gravity. In addition to this, creators are charging somewhat outrageous prices. Face it, creating shapes is easier to learn that creating mesh in Blender, or learning to texture in Photoshop.

When I make shapes, I scale the body in idealized proportions based on the size of the head, just like an artist does when they learn figure drawing. I will then spend some time wearing that shape, trying various outfits, hair, maybe even different skins and makeup, adjusting and fine tuning any little issues that come up. Once this is done, I then will scale they avatar maintaining anatomically correct proportions and provide a range of the same shape in three or four different heights.

This allows you to edit and modify your shape if desired without having to worry too much about messing up proportions.
