Hi there, and thank you for your interest in my Sikorsky S-92 and H-92 Soundkit for Shergood Aviation's product of the same name.
Please note, this engine sound pack will ONLY WORK WITH SA'S S-92 and H-92! This is not like my other DSA soundpacks that will work with any DSA aircraft. The files are specifically made for the S-92 and H-92 helicopter and will not work without extensive modification with other models.
Want something to give your Sikorsky S-92 or H-92 a little more character? Oops they did it again!
Each time, once i buy an helicopter by Shergood (this time the S-92), right after, i buy the soundkit here.
In that pack is 2 soundkits. I didnt unboxed the normal one, directly the "new" one (maybe related to the previous comments?) I have to say (i still not did a long flight with the soundkit) that these sounds are once again, really realist. I still not noticed a "loop" issue, but maybe because i dont use it since long, or it s fixed on the "new" version? Otherwise i noticed a glitch in the notecard, Obany Wardark is aware, and will fix that soon. But for someone who is accustomed to install these soundkits, it was obvious what to do. Thank you very much.
Not bad, but not that much improvement
Sounds are ok, there is a bit of change, but the looping sound gets annoying and tedious after a few mins. Maybe it's just me hearing this specificly, but the loop is too noticable.
Very good, though I'm not really sure.
These seem okay - easy enough to install.
The sounds are high-quality, though it may be ME, but I just can't really hear any major difference in these sounds a s compared to the ones that come with either the S-92 or H-92 (I have both).
To be fair here: this is my own perception - and it also could be that the checklist is so long I use the cheat for a fast-start and fast-stop (which doesn't really play the sounds in full as it's a shortcut startup and shutdown when cheating that way).
Perhaps when I have more time I'll plop the original sound files into my inventory and play them side-by-side to compare.
TO BE CLEAR: Nothing wrong with these at all - they are high-quality sounds. I'm just not hearing much of a difference for myself (and I'm an old fart in RL, so it very well could be my own hearing - yes, really! LOL
I am giving four stars primarily because there isn't as much a difference or "character" as I had presumed there would be based on the advertising. (And for me: three stars is considered neutral: neither bad or good, so four is surely a thumbs-up from me.)
