Advanced Racing Timer System with Racing HUD
This is probably the most advanced and most versatile racing system on the market. It can be used for any kind of racing event and works with any avatar, any vehicle, across sim borders and can handle a any amount of concurrent racers. At setup almost everything can be changed according to your unique requirements.
The setup is done through notecards and the system comes with a few sample setups for demonstration purposes.
In short the system contains exchangeable parameters for system security, how the scores are collected, detailed course specification, colors, language and specification of what information that should be displayed.
The detailed course specification can demand users to pass Sensors more than once and in a unique specified order and there could even be multiple start and end gates. It is also possible to forbid certain routes, which can be used to prevent racers from choosing fast cheating routes.
The advanced Sensors can detect racers in many ways and tell if they collide with the Sensors or if they race around the Sensors and in what direction. All that can be part of your unique course specification.
Optional Display information for each racer is rank number, race time, team and racer name, lap number and total lap count.
The system Display is automatically adjusting its display size and prim count required to show the information that you want it to show, so it is not possible to tell exactly how many prims this will use. However the example "Quick setup with 4 Sensors" is 25LI including the Sensor prims. Scaling does not affect LI.
Everything has copy permissions, and every prim (except the Racing HUD) is modifiable too, so this is suitable for being put into rezzers, if you want to have multiple courses on your land at different times. The system does support multiple races side by side if you want, but rezzers can keep the concurrent prim count at a minimum.
It is possible to setup a group of managers that have special permissions to operate the Display and the optional start Lights.
Special manuals for owners and managers respectively are available when they click the Display.
DISCLAIMER: The total system has more than 50 different settings that can be changed and modified, some in a very advanced way, so the setup process is not done in half a minute. That means that if you are the quick rez'n race type or if you do not want to read and follow instructions, then this system is not for you.
