the AirSurf 004 is a non-physical vehicle (NPV), the very first of a long series that has to come yet.
it's my own study of a low-scripts low-lag non physical vehicle.
since i loved the script, i thought that i could make the test vehicle look a little more nice, and here's the AirSurf 004
advantages of this vehicle are that it's not physical, therefore there is no physical calculation by the Simulator.
Sim Crossing is also fun, when you're on a sim edge, the vehicle simply stops until it crosses the sim, starting to move again.
handy, you won't cross 3-4 sims at once.
> usage
very simple to use:
jump on it, and drive it.
there is a starting up procedure of about 10 seconds, that is not mandatory.
you can wait until the engine sound has come to the loop, just to be more cool. but you can drive it immediately.
you can also "radio control" it, by simply clicking on it and accepting the permissions requests.
to acces the menu, hold click on it until the menu comes out.
> menu
menu contains 7 different colors and the permissions.
select a color to change color, or select owner to set permissions only on owner, group to set permissions on object's group (you may set the group by editing it, and going into "General" tab, and choose the group - do not deed), or everyone to let everyone use it.
a colored ring on the pad will change color:
red for owner, orange for group, and green for everyone. when flying, it becomes light blue.
you can also carry a passenger while radio controlling it, just remember to change the permissions and don't leave Owner permissions.
> commands:
w or Arrow Up = Move Forward
S or Arrow Down = Move Backward
A or Arrow RIght = Steer Right
D or Arrow Left = Steer Left
Page UP = Move Upward
Page Down = Move Downward
Shift + A / Arrow Right = Move Right
Shift + D / Arrow Left = Move Left
> Tips:
- if you get upside down while flying, just release all controls and the AirSurf will reset its rotation to the correct side.
can happen, i didn't correct the error because it's fun to fly upside down. xD
i just added the rotation reset while commands are released.
- while radio controlling, check the side lights to understand its direction:
Red light is on the Left side and Green light is on the Right side.
white headlight are on the front.
there are also 4 big red lights on its bottom.
Enjoy!
