After desperate searching for Egyptian/"gladiator" style sandals that wouldn't bankrupt me I finally stumbled across these. They are indeed mod, quite easy to size for you with stretch and of course very recolor-able due to their whiteness. Modding in total--color and size for a male av--took me about eight minutes WITH SL being difficult. I needed them to be a very hard to find shade of deep gold, and voila! Problem solved! Very fair price, unique sort of angles to the straps, the end result looks perfect. Also, if like me you're aggravated by the difficulty of toenail polish/feet shape in SL, these will make you very happy. The toe straps fall in such a way that toenails would be distracting rather than pretty, and your foot itself looks so graceful SL's ugly lack of definition is completely unnoticeable.
