The Altar of the Dead is a fundamental element in the set of Mexican traditions of the "Day of the Dead", which consists of installing domestic offerings in honor of the dead in the family.
These altars are the product of religious syncretism, they still keep an enormous similarity in symbolic and aesthetic elements with the "Tlamanalli", made by the groups that still keep the tradition of the pre-hispanic peoples.
This altar is dedicated to Mictecacíhuatl, who in Mexica mythology is the queen of Mictlán, the 9th. and last level of the underworld, she presided over the Mexica festivals made in honor of the dead and her purpose was to watch over the bones of the dead.
The altar that I present to you is an adaptation, that does not pretend to be a faithful copy, but a complete and independent work of the original.

The package contains two mesh objects (created with detailed textures, with normal and specular maps), one of them with an impact of 110Li and another with a light halo with 117 110Li.
The pedestals have fire particles and by clicking the necklace of the goddess Mictecacíhuatl you control the on/off Marigold Particles.
The Altar also contains prehispanic music; clicking the treble clef turns the sound on or off.
The song is played repeatedly performing a loop unless it stops with another click. Everybody will be able to start/stop playing the song by clicking the object.

El Altar de Muertos​ es un elemento fundamental en el conjunto de tradiciones mexicanas del "Día de Muertos", que consiste en instalar ofrendas domésticas en honor de los muertos de la familia.
Estos altares son producto del sincretismo religioso, guardan todavía una enorme similitud en elementos simbólicos y estéticos con los "Tlamanalli", elaborados por los grupos que aún guardan la tradición de los pueblos prehispanicos.
Este altar está dedicado a Mictecacíhuatl, que en la mitología mexica es la reina de Mictlán, el 9o. y último nivel del inframundo, ella presidía los festivales mexicas hechos en honor de los muertos y su propósito era vigilar los huesos de los muertos.
El Altar que te presento es una adaptación, que no pretende ser copia fiel, sino una obra completa e independiente del original.

El paquete contiene dos objetos mesh (creados con texturas detalladas, con mapas normales y especulares), una de ellas con un impacto de 110 prims y otra con halo de luz con 117 prims de impacto.
Los pedestales tienen partículas de fuego y al hacer clic en el collar de la diosa Mictecacíhuatl controlas el encendido/apagado de las partículas de Cempasúchil.
El Altar también contiene música prehispánica; al hacer clic en la clave de sol se activa o desactiva el sonido.
La canción se reproduce repetidamente realizando un bucle a menos que se detenga con otro clic, todos podrán iniciar o detener la reproducción de la canción haciendo clic en el objeto.
