Face changes color when you are above maximum build height of 4096 meters (yellow), below sea level (aqua), or below 0 meters (red, and yes, you can do this! Ask me how!
Updates several times a second for accurate feedback, but not more often than needed, so minimum lag.
Prims are modifiable, so you can make the altimeter as large as you wish.
