AnacondaS Ocean key frame Naso tang Fish

Ocean key frame fish
These are the latest fish in my endeavor to create realistic fish in second life they feature.
Efficient low resource usage scripting
Realistic artificial behavior
Optional interactive feeding system
Efficient low resource movement techniques
Different species behavior characteristics
These fish are for terrain water only.
Be sure to come and see them inworld at my store
These fish have been created with region resource usage in mind. They use a totally new feature for there movement that will not cause any noticeable sim performance loss at all.
How they work.
They will move freely within your terrain ocean area. There movement is very realistic, they make decisions about there movement behavior and can choose between swimming around freely or schooling together in circles.
Prim Counts
Fish = 1 prim or 1 Land Impact each.
Feeding Vendor = 3 prims or 3 Land Impact.
The minimum recommended water depth for the best performance is 3.5 meters the parcel size is not really important as the fish automatically adapt once rezzed.
Setup is simple. All you need to do is drag and drop them under the water. (No configuration required.)
Main performance features
1. These fish do not use temp rezzing (So each fish will count as 1 prim) These fish are a great choice if you own a region with high traffic or you want to use the minimum possible resources for this type of underwater setup).
The fish have copy permissions so you can rezz multiple copies, you are only limited to how many prims your willing to allocate for each fish however I personally wouldn’t go over 60.
2. These fish do not use physics therefore they do not have the physics time impact on sim performance when using large amounts of moving creatures or pets. (I am not saying that physical creatures or pets are bad this is a misconception in some cases. But they can be in large numbers such as 30 or more.) What these fish allow you to do is have a lot more free swimming fish without the impact on the physics engine. Personally I’ve had 30 fish all swimming around which by the way looks incredible and the script time has not gone over 0.120ms total.
3. If there are no avatars in the sim the fish will go into a sleep mode (Not that they really need to but there is no need for things to be moving if there is no one to see it) In all this means that these fish are not just region friendly there also grid wide resource friendly.
Memory and script time information.
Each fish uses 1 script that is 44kb in size and using around 0.003 ms Min 0.005 ms Max script time. 30 fish will use around 0.120ms script time and 1320kb of memory. So basically the performance impact is not noticeable.
Remember before checking script times make sure you give every thing about 2 minutes to settle down. Script times are always higher when first rezzed.
These fish do not require feeding to stay alive how ever you and your visitors and friends and family can feed them for enjoyment, interaction and entertainment using the fish feeding vendor (sold separately).
Rezzing tips
1. Make sure you rezz the fish away from sim and parcel edges they need to be rezzed more than 10 meters away from them in order for the fish to make good natural looking decisions.
2. The first location you rezz the fish automatically becomes there home location this location is very import as it becomes hard coded into the fish’s object description to ensure this position is never forgotten. This is also where the fish will come and school around in circles together at random times. So a good idea is to rezz the same species around the same location so when they decide to school they will school together in there own species group and look very realistic.
Different species.
Each species of fish really does have there own movement style and personality for example some fish are more adventurous and like to explore more and some are more cautious and like to stay in small areas around corals. Some fish are more afraid of avatars than others etc.
Here is a scale from 1 to 3. 1 being lower and 3 being higher.
Mesh Sea Fish - Naso tang
Avatar fear reaction: 3
Schooling radius: 3
Movement speed: 2
Adventurous nature: True
