This butterfly generator creates realistic flying monarch butterflies in high quality. It is not an emitter or particles, the butterflies are made with prims and are physical flying around. The butterflies are temporary rezzed which means they do not count against your prim count. Only the prim for the generator will be counted. The generator comes as a single sculpted stone prim that you can modify to change the texture or size if needed. You also can adjust the number of butterflies which will be rezzed and the high above the center of the generator where the butterflies gets rezzed (with a notecard in the generator). An instruction note is included. The butterfly generator is copyable and modify, so you can place them around as many you like.
You also can get bundle packs for the butterflies to a special price (each pack contains 5 types of butterflies):
- AD's Butterfly Bundle Pack #1
- AD's Butterfly Bundle Pack #2
- AD's Butterfly Bundle Pack #3

Texture is ok, but the movement looks really bad.
The butterflies look ok, but the movement is not realistic at all. There's not really much flapping, they just sort of float around at weird angles (upside-down, sideways, etc.), like they're in a snow globe or something. There's just no way I can use these. Glad it was less then 100 L$.
Do not do 1 prims but 3 prims, only 1 butterfly

Love the low prims!
I love the low prims with this system. The only problem that I see is that the butterflies seem to fly too awkwardly and slowly. They also congregate too close together if you try rezzing more than less. A good number is between 5 and 10.
Highly Recommended
Simply beautiful. Easy to rez. Very realistic-looking fluttering monarch butterflies.
