This is a simple particle emitter, which can be tinted to any desired hue.
This aura is NOT emissive, it will react to windlights, allowing a more realistic effect. However, if an emissive version is highly requested, I will update with one for free.
The particle can be tinted entirely or partially via changing the tint of the prims in Edit Mode.

The Aura is resizable via Edit mode by in/decreasing the size to control the range.
With a recent update, the particles smoothly appear in and fade out, eliminating any choppy or sudden appearances of particles.
