Why is GenAI bad?:
At this time ANY Generative AI models (Stable Diffusion, Midjourney, etc) are trained on datasets that are unethical. Using content that has been scraped from artists and other creatives without their consent, credit, or compensation. The energy output useage is MASSIVE and damaging to the environment. Any works using generative AI in the process of creation or end product are not legally recognized as being eligible for copyright protection due to the current datasets being trained on copyrighted and IP infringing material. Please do not use GenAI. Please do not normalize its use in SL. I understand that for many it is a 'shiny new toy' that makes pretty pictures but it does nothing but harm to real artists in the freelance communities and professional industry spaces, demoralizes an entire generation of new artists, will ultimately damage the reputation of SL creators using GenAI in their work, and create further climate-related complications.

A very informative summary of why gen-ai on anything is just awful. I'm using a particle emmiter to make sure everyone sees these, when I use them in my stores, at home, and wearing one when going to events
