Antiki-Taki Pair of Riesener Jewel Cabinets
Antiki-Taki is proud of this pair of very special items which are based on and modelled on rl items made by the Jean-Henri Riesener (1734-1806) who was born in Westphalia but moved to Paris in 1754. He became renowned as a Cabinet maker especially for the French Court of Louis XVI. The rl jewel cabinet that we have modelled these items on, is today in the a Royal collection.
The pair (copy/modify) comprise 2 versions; 1 non working (li=11) and one fully working (li=17) . The former has a touch resize option. The latter has working doors which when touched reveals the interior. The interior central panel then lifts if touched. Behind this is a compartment which itself may be changed. Touch for the menu which provides a choice between: 2 alternative book shelves, 2 alternative (18th C) China displays, 2 alternative miniature displays (1 a miniature oriental court, the other 18th figurines), a display of stuffed exotic birds, a set of matching drawers or a simple interior empty space.
