We programmed our fireplaces with a prim parameter state recorder. Meaning…. when you turn the fire on, many things change all at once. For example…. the logs change texture from wood to a burning ember texture animation, they glow, a light source is activated, a particle script is activated, animated texture flames appear in full bright etc. resulting in a rich transformation.
The shadowing is built in to the product.

This fireplace is one of the best looking out there. It's a little heavy on the prims but it's well worth it for the look.
