This wonderful relic of a bygone day plays the full-length song, "Alexander's Ragtime Band" by Irving Berlin. It was his first major hit, in 1911. There is some evidence, although inconclusive, that Berlin borrowed the melody from a draft composition submitted by Scott Joplin that had been submitted to a publisher.

This gramophone is a high-quailty build with careful attention to detail. The animations include a moving needle arm that raises and lowers, a spinning record, and the handle on the side turns just like the real thing. This elegant gramophone is only 8 prims and will be a lovely addition to your parlor or music room.
