This is a very simple but effective "weapon". It behaves like a GM "Short bow" (object sinks during flight, 1 second between throws, light damage) and SF "Screamer", but it is intended for non warriors to defend themselves. Because it behaves like a short bow it is also a great learning and practice tool for archers.
Trivial to use, just wear the apple, "M" into mouselook, aim, and left click fire. There is no "quiver" so you dont "Draw" or "Sheath", and you never run out of apples. And yes, while in mouselook you can run around to chase other folks or to get away, and you can even throw while running.

Looks bad if you have an AO
There appears to be no carry animation with this so I wind up putting the basket in my face. The apple is always visible in hand too. What if i want to have that hand free? I have to take the apple off first so it's no longer a quick shot. Otherwise the product does look and work as intended.

A stunningly accurate, amazing little weapon! Easy to use, even for the neophyte combatant--trust me on that one! Tremendous fun, particularly when used to train on the creator's live hunting range. Impossible to describe the joy of actually being able to HIT something moving! Many thanks to Restless Swords for designing such fun items. Truly, the man is a creative genius.
